In 2002, 4×4 Self Drive Africa Ltd was founded to share our passion for exploring Africa on self-drive. We started by operating in Kenya and then expanding throughout East Africa with our small group overland trips.

Welcome to our magical Continent – Africa!! The 4×4 Self Drive Africa Ltd was established through a desire to share our passion for Africa with like-minded adventurers. Our early beginnings saw us operating safaris into the World Renowned Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara Game Reserve and today, we now operate throughout East Africa.
Gradually we extended our services to neighboring countries like Zambia, Namibia, and Botswana and at the beginning of 2005 launched our first overland safari which always starts from Nairobi Kenya to South Africa. In addition to self-drive car rentals in the region and short self-drive safaris, we do Overland Safaris, Authentic Camping, Private Game Lodges, and Tailor-made and Fly-In safaris.
We have made adventure tours into Africa an undisputable success. We can proudly attribute our popularity to providing small group overland travel opportunities to tourists planning a more personalized experience.
