The 3-day self-drive safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park rewards with a visit to the most visited and loved national park where you will get a chance to spot different animals and wildlife found in the park and also enjoy a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will get a chance to see different animals coming to drink water and the shores and also a variety of water birds will be watched during the boat cruise.
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, you will meet the agent from the 4×4 Self Drive Africa Ltd and he will brief you about the vehicle you have hired, you will have a chance to ask him any question about the car and tips on driving in Uganda. Then after the briefing and signing the car rental agreement, you will be set to transfer to the southwestern part of the country about 415kma to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey will take you through Uganda’s beautiful green countryside with an en-route stop at the equator for photos and an informative talk and then continue to Mbarara town for an en-route lunch, proceed to the Queen Elizabeth National Park; relax as you prepare for an evening game drive where you will also see the crater Lakes. In the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will get into your safari vehicle and go for an early morning game drive in one of the different trails in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The most common and interesting trail is the Kisenyi trail where you will get a chance to see the famous Big Five; elephants, Lions, Bushbucks, warthog, Buffalos, lions, Kobs, Hyenas, and a variety of different bird species. After this amazing game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch, and later you will go for 2 hours boat cruise along the Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward where you should expect to see animals like Buffalos, Hippos, and Crocodiles, and others. there is also a high chance of watching a variety of water-loving birds while you are on a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. After this amazing day, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala
After breakfast, you can choose to go for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge or visit the bat cave or the blue lake, then after you will hit the road and drive back to Kampala with an en-route stop for lunch in Mbarara town for lunch and later you will continue with the journey to Kampala reaching there late afternoon and continue directly to Entebbe International Airport where you will meet with the agent from 4×4 Self Drive Africa Ltd ready to pick and take the car back to the office.
